Mr. Michael has been part of litigation teams handling multi-state class action and antitrust cases involving complex, multi-party disputes. He served as a Legal Fellow at the UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies, co-authoring published research on autonomous vehicle safety and its legal implications. He also brings experience in asset forfeiture matters, having worked on both civil and criminal proceedings across federal and local courts.
Prior to going to law school, Cooper spent a year in Japan teaching English and lived for a short time in Vancouver, Canada. Outside the office, Mr. Michael can be found playing drums, behind a camera, on the tennis court, or walking his dog Mugi.
